You shouldn't feel happy over this so I'm glad you don't tbh- call her an idiot or roll your eyes at the obvious, but I think it'd be pretty tacky to feel glee over a situation that affects at-risk underage trans children most of all, and won't hurt Caitlyn whatsoever. Despite how stupid it may be to support the Republican Party as a trans woman, she won't be the one suffering for that choice.

Even rich people need to use public bathrooms. And while Republicans are currently focused on preventing trans people from peeing and on driving trans kids to suicide, there's no reason to believe they'll stop there.

I totally agree with you that, of all the people hurt by these malicious laws, Jenner is among the least hurt. But that's not the same as saying she won't suffer at all.

DA - I'll admit, it warms my heart to think of the tabloids staking out the bathrooms anytime she goes out in public to see if she holds the party line and uses the mens' room or not because she's kind of screwed either way.

You know, if I owned a big conference center I'd make sure there was the mens' room, womens' room, and one teenie family restroom, host a big Republican conference, and then surprise them with security guards outside the restrooms demanding that if they're not carrying their birth certificate and two forms of photo ID that match, they all have to use the single Family restroom.
