I don't think there's anything wrong with liking your own writing. In fact I think it makes sense that you would.

But liking your writing best, over every other fanfic writer's work? Ehh...I mean, you can't help how you feel, but that just doesn't seem like a realistic or beneficial mindset.

I can actually understand the mindset. The OP is most likely writing to all his/her favorite tropes/kinks/character types/etc. Reading others' stories always has the potential for the story to take a turn you don't like, or a clunky line that a character "wouldn't say" in your own headcanon to throw you out of a story. Or in, for example, my case, there simply isn't any fic in my most beloved fandoms that hit all my kink buttons.

So I am one of my own favorite smut writers, since the fic is tailored to me.

The only other way you could maybe, possibly find that is if you're insanely lucky to find a mindtwin, or pay someone to write precisely what you want.

That's why I don't think there's anything wrong with liking your own stuff best.
