I feel like I'm gonna Hulk out any minute now. I blame that shithead Trump for this. It's the constant threat of nuclear war that's driving me up the wall. Since the Republicans won't do anything but suck up to Herr Trump, he pretty much has free hands to play with his shiny nukes.

You know what's really sad about all this? My city would be one of the first to be struck, if they were smart.

It's a MAJOR distribution city, with the main FedEx Hub here.

I live very close to the largest military base in the United States. A lot of people here are nervous. My Mom works at one of the warehouses where people have to have a membership card to shop. She said that they are selling out of items commonly on bug out / hunker down supply lists.

Iran prooooobably doesn't have any actual nuclear weapons yet. Hard to say for sure obviously. Also, the Iranians are one of the least worrisome countries in terms of active threats to world peace, IMO

Welcome to the 1960s through 1980s, you'll get used to it. Take my advice, if it worries you so much then move next to a major military base. That way if anything does happen then it won't matter. Gone with the first flash, that was reassuring actually. None of this duck and cover, learning how to deal with fallout, rad burns, all that crap, just flash and gone.

Or move to a country that probably won't be too nuclearly devastated.

My #toptip on countries to move to for people worried about the future: New Zealand, Ireland, Norway, or Uruguay. All countries with relatively stable, competent governments that provide reasonably high levels of liberty and freedom; reasonably high levels of rainfall and very agriculturally productive so you're unlikely to starve to death or get into a water war; relatively out of the way of nuclear strikes and fallout; relatively young populations so you're not facing demographic problems going forward.

I'm not mad, just constantly anxious. It sucks 'cause I was doing a pretty decent job of managing my anxiety and the current political climate has caused me to go about a thousand steps backwards. I live near an army base, so maybe I'll just get blown up in the first wave. Or I can move to my grandpa's house in another country and worry about drug crimes and corruption instead.

To the rest of the world, I just want to say how sorry I am for every stupid thing the orange shit stain's doing. I swear, most of us aren't that bananas and don't want to start any more wars.
