I really feel like fanvids should be something that should fall under fair use.

IDK copyright and fan activity is always fucked in the way it works. Logically I don't get why sites like Buzzfeed are able to steal as much content as they like and make money off it, but things like fanvids/fanart/fanfic which can be works of art in their own right aren't considered fair use and therefor subject to removal.

(BTW I do understand the basics of copyright law so I *get it* but I also don't *get it* you know? Like I understand the legality but I think it's a fucked system.)
