From what I've read the writer of the screenplay saying, no, it wasn't. There was originally a scene where JLaw's character explained clearly to Pratt's that what he'd done was Not Ok, and nothing could excuse it, but given that it *had* happened she wanted to move on and she really did have feelings for him now. It was cut from the finished film.
