Depends, I guess. I've liked him (original cartoon), not minded him (current comics) and hated his face (TFA). But I think he has always been something Hasbro has tried to peddle for the kiddies, since he is the likeable, small and spunky Autobot.

But kids hate the kiddy character, don't they? Teens hated Wesley on Star Trek, everyone hated Scrappy Doo, people wanted Wheelie from the G1 Transformers movie to die in a fire. Has that changed, do kids now like the kiddy character these days?

I'm not going to be judgey and superior about it, but it is a bit eyeroll-worthy, since "old movies" covers a very large and diverse body of work. It's not like it's typical to watch and like all new movies, so if you like some new movies, you would probably like some old movies. Also, what counts as "old?"

Yeah, there's someone in my fandom like this. It's not terrible, especially not for free content, but I roll my eyes SO HARD sometimes. She also alliterates WAY TOO MUCH. UGH STOP.

I literally got no sleep last night. I tossed and turned all night. I had the music clip from The Love Bug stuck in my head alternating with the music from the Bollywood Chameleon advert. I have never been earwormed so badly in my life. It literally kept me awake all night, now I have a headache, sore eyes, and a weird feeling in my sinuses.

I'm the one who doesn't like beer and would prefer wine, but usually orders a cider so it looks like I'm drinking beer so I don't have to deal with people going "OMG HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE BEER HOW???"

Not really, but that doesn't stop the corporations from trying. Bumblebee isn't that unpopular, but many of his toys remain unsold just because the local shops order them a lot more than they order other Transformers.
