I haven't watched it yet, but I like that possible twist? Either that or Missy being in the vault would be great. I like Moffat's twists and writing. This season has been great so far.

He's definitely trying to make it look like Missy is the one in the vault as there was a flashback cutaway of the Doctor explicitly promising to put her in it. Since it was so direct and blatant in admitting it then there is pretty much no way that it can be her. That is how Moffat works.

The only thing I like about Moffat is the sweetie shop in the main street!

We'll see. I've loved every season he's done so far, and I expect I'll love this one too, no matter how it turns out. I get that a lot of people hate him, but I really don't. I prefer his Doctor Who.

Even season 6?

Not trying to be hostile or get into a fight about Moffat here, honestly asking your opinion. s6 has always seemed like it'd be really hard to defend and so I'm curious to hear the thoughts of someone who really likes it.

Yes, even season 6. I don't have a problem with season 6. Not my favorite season, but not my least favorite either. I liked the twist of River being Melody. I don't really get the problem a lot of people have with season 6, honestly. I did find some of the episodes dull (the flesh episodes for instance and Night Terrors). But the season arc stuff I liked.

His seasons are kind of all over the place so I'm surprised to find someone who loves every one. Even when RTD was in charge (who I prefer) I sure as hell didn't love everything he did.

I don't love all the episodes. There are some very dull or stupid episodes. But I do love all the different season arcs. I haven't had a problem with any of them. I will say I didn't love the pairing of Eleven and Clara, the chemistry of her as his companion didn't work. But I still liked the season arc.

I didn't start liking Clara until 12 came along, but then she also was written completely differently with 12.

She was kind of written different, but to me that was just her paired with a completely different Doctor. People do act differently around different people. And because Eleven was confused about her, he didn't really spend the time to get to know her personality, so we didn't get to see much of it.

Well that was the exact problem with her in series 7, she was more of a plot point then a character so it was hard to get attached to her. Series 8 gave her more of a life.

Exactly! In series 7, she was a mystery to solve.

I really liked her in S8, though. She had two conflicting things that she wanted, and that gave her actual motivation to be there, instead of "oh well, I guess I'll just go with this guy because I don't have anything else going on rn."
