What type would you be in a horror movie and how would you die?

I'd be the worrywart parent who dies early on in an ironic way to provide the audience with some gallows humor before we head into the full on grand guignol gross-out gore and terror part of the movie.

So you reply there saying "same, but not as a parent. More sort of as a dumbass idiot who wanders by". It is all variation on the same theme, and it keeps the replies threaded and works as part of a discussion instead of just putting in another essentially the same but with slight variation subpost.

I'd survive. I'd be the one who knew something bad was happening. I would disappear halfway through with a small group of people who believed me and show up briefly at the end in the background.

I dunno, every horror movie I've seen makes a point of killing the ones that claim to be genre savvy in a gruesome and ironic manner just to prove a point. I don't think working out something bad is going on and trying to run is a horror movie survivor attribute.

Heh, I probably would die for the same reason: Be the person who keeps telling everyone that actually, going into that old cursed building/playing with that ouja board/poking sticks at the ancient burial ground is a terrible idea and why exacyly won't anyone listen? And then I'd probably die first in a great big "TOLD YOU SO" moment and that'd be the time everyone else finally realised it as well (but it's obviously too late by then).

Maybe I'd turn into the vengeful spirit who haunts the people in the sequel.

That one friend who wants to bail immediately and ends up killing themselves out of insanity (or attempting to flee, ie. jumps out a window to escape the monster, but was on the third floor).

This is how I'd probably bite it. Either that, or I'd be some sort of Cassandra figure, predicting doom around every corner, but never ever getting beleived.

An extra, and probably crushed in a building or eaten by a monster or something along with a whole bunch of other people.

Oh, or I'd be the friend or partner or whoever that gets fridged so the main cast with more interesting reactions gets the stakes raised and stuff.

Mainly any situation in which I have no chance, because if I had a chance, I'd just walk away from the movie plot.

I see you more as Burke from Aliens. Everyone thinks he's on the good guys side because he can be so nice and charming, then BAM he goes and shows his true colors before getting his like a coward.

Or possibly Burke, from Burke and Hare. Whichever you find worse.
