The entire plot of Fire Emblem Fates. Especially the choice between your adoptive family and your biological family.

Haha I started playing one and got pretty far, and actually liked it for the most part (I played the Team Blondes version). But I got stuck at one of the later battles, and after failing ten times put it down and haven't tried again. Maybe I should be glad I didn't make it far enough to see the cards fall. I liked my adoptive family. Except for imouto-chan. But I really like the older sister and two brothers.

And of course, unless you Revelations, no matter what, Birthright is displayed as the Correct Path with Glorious Nihon triumphing and you with your Rightful Birth Family.

The whole thing is moot since it's revealed that you're not related to your Hoshido family either. And you can marry all your siblings; so much for family bonds.

Can't the siblings also marry each other? That was what really grossed me out. It's weird enough that you can marry them. including the kid characters. But I remembered something like you can even set them up with each other... or something.

Your siblings from Hoshido can marry your siblings from Nohr; is that what you were talking about? Because they're not related in any way. There are potentially a lot of cousin marriages though. The male mc and Azura are cousins, they can get married. It's one of the most popular pairings.
