My mom's perfume and my dad's cologne. They stopped going out much after he retired, so all my associations with those smells are of before I was twelve, and could still be carried by either of them because damn I was a small kid, usually with my face pressed into their fancy evening coats. Sleepy, warm, and very safe.

Pool chlorine mixed with chips.

When I was a very young kid my father, before he died, used to take me for swimming lessons and then out for fish and chips afterwards. The council pool never had showers, so if you went there then you smelled of pool chlorine until you got home.

Cigars and diesel fuel. It reminds me of my dad when I was little. He stopped smoking when I was in middle school and the diesel fuel smell isn't as prominent anymore.

I'm very sensitive to smells so I have a lot of very specific nostalgic memories tied to very particular smells. One of the strongest is a very particular smell of wood smoke that reminds me a lot of holidays at my grandparents' place during autumn.
In general, I sometimes get just a trace of a certain scent and it's a very sudden, almost aching sense of nostalgia that it borders on unpleasant.

Pipe tobacco makes me think of my great grandfather.

Fresh cut hay, or hay in general makes me think of my childhood.

The smell of goats and other farm animals make me think of my grandparents and spending time with them.

The ocean, always and forever is such a strong scent memory that = home and family.

Campfires and barbeques. Patchouli. So many various smells invoke some sort of nostalgia.

There's akind of bleachy smell that the carob trees (or maybe the chicken of the woods fungus that grows on them) give off that makes me think of Halloween, because it usually happens in autumn.

Acne products I used in my teens take me right back there. Once it was that orange Neutrogena acne wash. Another time it was a bunch of OXY astringent pads. I tend to use different facial products these days, because at thirty I want to be gentler to my skin, but occasionally I'll buy a product I used as a teen. Often I don't even remember using it as a teen until I smell it and then I know in an instant.

Dove bar soap. I totally didn't realize until I was ringing someone up for it and was SMACKED with nostalgia in the face and had to think hard for a minute- then I realized it's because my grandma loves the stuff and had it in her bathrooms.

She lives in a nursing home now.

By the same token, her late husband was the only person I've ever known who smoked a pipe so the smell of pipesmoke makes me think of him. (Prince Albert in a can!)

This is odd, cause I encountered one today. A hot summer patio. I don't even know how to define this, but as I stepped in through my back entrance on the patio of my condo, it smelled like my grandma's backyard patio. I immediately was able to picture what it used to look like.
