From Hellboy II: The Golden Army - Prince Nuada's spear. There is actually a replica but i can't really justify spending that kind of money for something like that.

What cool idea was wasted on a bad/unworthy story?

Ever come across some form of media that has a really fucking cool concept, but it was otherwise bad so can't be taken seriously? Doesn't have to be the central concept, could be some kind of detail or world-building that was awesome. The story doesn't even have to be inherently bad, per se, just unworthy to get the deserved recognition for this cool idea. could be like... a really neat sci-fi invention in a dollar romance novel, a cool superpower in a gay erotic doujinshi, whatever.

So I don't usually get into tv shows. I've seen one or two episodes of most shows, but few have interested me enough to stick around and I have a habit of rewatching the shows I actually really like. I just finished the first season of Twin Peaks but I worry season 2 won't be able to keep me around for the whole thing because I remember people saying season 2 wasn't very good, especially compared to season 1.

Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any shows that are over/have been cancelled that you all either wished was still on or didn't end well or ended up with a cluffhanger that never got resolved?

Job Talk

I am currently applying for a second job, cause my current one doesn't pay much and doesn't schedule me for many hours (its part time, but I am lucky if they give me close to 20 hours hours a week tbh). The second job I am applying for will pay more and I think I might like it more, but is also part time and says it will only be around 15 hours a week.

I sure do wish I could get a full time job, but my area is pretty shitty for that. (I'd like to move eventually but you know, you need money for that.)

How is everyone else's job situation going?
