My parents and I used to spend part of every summer visiting friends in northern California. When I was maybe five or so, my mom's friend's daugher, who is three years older than me, and I were playing at, I dunno, summoning nature spirits or something, and this big booming voice came out of a tree. I don't remember what it said. I'm not entirely sure it wasn't a dream. I asked the girl about it a couple years later and she didn't remember. I thought maybe it was my dad pranking us, but for some reason at the time I knew it couldn't be him. Dad's been dead for years now, so I can't ask.

Also when I was little, I used to have a reoccurring dream where I was on a runway watching planes go by overhead, except the dream was in black and white. I still wonder if my subconscious stored up a scene from an old movie for some reason.
