I don't know what the hell I blew out of my nose when I had a fever of 104 when I was... 9? 10? But it looked like a little cylinder of brain. WHAT THE HELL WAS IN MY NOSE?! Did I dream that?! Did I fever dream blowing my brains out my nose?!?!

that horrific photo of the little girl screaming naked in the road in Vietnam. I seem to remember another photo taken like 10 years later of the same stretch of road and a railroad track running parallel to it with a train going down it and a very robust looking little kid in a Mao jacket running next to the train. Did that second photo really exist or was it something I dreamed?

When I was in elementary school I was on a long car trip and we stopped for gas. Also refilling near us was a big rv trailer and I remember seeing something strange in one of the windows -- it looked like a furry hand, tapping a ruler against the window. I kept staring at it and I remember at the time thinking there was a monster or an alien in the rv. Now I assume it was probably one the family's kids or even a pet playing with a toy (especially since this was when I didn't like wearing my glasses all the time so even though I should have had them on I didn't) but I still always kinda wonder what exactly I saw.

My parents and I used to spend part of every summer visiting friends in northern California. When I was maybe five or so, my mom's friend's daugher, who is three years older than me, and I were playing at, I dunno, summoning nature spirits or something, and this big booming voice came out of a tree. I don't remember what it said. I'm not entirely sure it wasn't a dream. I asked the girl about it a couple years later and she didn't remember. I thought maybe it was my dad pranking us, but for some reason at the time I knew it couldn't be him. Dad's been dead for years now, so I can't ask.

Also when I was little, I used to have a reoccurring dream where I was on a runway watching planes go by overhead, except the dream was in black and white. I still wonder if my subconscious stored up a scene from an old movie for some reason.
