Re: Favorite Actors
(Anonymous) 2017-06-14 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)I've looked up several obscure (to me) TV shows Richard Armitage was in. I actually really liked the Golden Hour. I also watched the tornado movie he was in.
And I learned about The Almighty Johnsons because of Dean O'Gorman. Still haven't seen more than the pilot though.
Re: Favorite Actors
(Anonymous) 2017-06-14 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)I even watched Robin Hood for Richard Armitage and that's probably one of the worse shows I've seen in my life. But North and South was pretty good, so it's okay.
Maybe you should try The Almighty Johnsons again because it was great. At the beginning, I was merely watching for Dean O'Gorman and after the first season my favourite character turned out to be someone else and I got very invested in the show.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-15 12:06 am (UTC)(link)North and South was/is one of my favorites. But yeah, Robin Hood... I couldn't get through all of that, not even for Richard Armitage.
Re: Favorite Actors
(Anonymous) 2017-06-15 12:15 am (UTC)(link)I eventually even read the book - North and South, I mean.
Robin Hood was something else. I mean Richard Armitage with longish hair and dressed in leather is nice, but not nice enough to get through season 3.
BTW, did you know that Richard Armitage did audiobooks?
Re: Favorite Actors
(Anonymous) 2017-06-15 12:28 am (UTC)(link)I stuck out Robin Hood until the episode where he was shirtless... but yeah, it was just too corny for me. Ooh, audiobooks! I wouldn't mind that...

(Anonymous) 2017-06-15 12:39 am (UTC)(link)I think he's read mainly books by Georgette Heyer, which are not really my thing but I like his voice, it's very soothing.
