I can't stand the SEED art style either. Just the shapes of their faces and their eyes... eww. Nonetheless, I adore the series for it's lovely characters and storyline. As for the Prince of Tennis art style, the anime looks sooo much better than the manga.

Vargas is awesome. It's rare for me to cry at books, though it has happened a few times, but I think the "flashback" chapter when Edgar is dreaming and incorperating Scriabin into his past was the first time a fanfic ever made me cry.

103. I still don't have any faith in love or finding the one, but I adore that movie. I can watch it whenever I'm upset and it makes me feel better. I think it's because not everyone ends up in a great relationship, but everyone's life still goes on. And because of the subtitles. "Sometimes things are so transparency" is awesome.

101) It's just because the lyrics are distracting, we'd rather put our own BGM on, we may be unfamiliar with the song or sick of it, most of us wrote bad songfics back in our badfic days, and song lyrics are often used as a cheap substitute for actual description of what the characters and the reader are supposed to feel. There must be some good songfics out there, but there are a lot of reasons for people to hate them.

Not the OP, but so haven't most other fanfic types either. As with any cliche/fanfic genre/whathaveyou that's pretty popular, you have to do some work to get to the good stuff.
