Re: Should fans make money off fanwork?

I think they should get money appropriate to the amount of effort/work/art they put into the fanwork. I hate the 'artists' who take official images and run them through quick photoshop filters, print them out and sell them at cons.

Also no bootlegging and trying to pretend it's official.

But if you're putting the time and effort into it then I don't see a problem with being paid for it, especially when you're providing something the main companies can't or won't.
