Fandom's bad in its entirety." The fandom isn't a garbage dump. The fandom isn't the French Revolution during the Reign of Terror. It's the larger narrative I object to.

And thinking an artist getting death threats over fanart is a bad thing is not a knee-jerk reaction, it's common fucking sense.
People are talking about how this proves the entire fandom is garbage. That is a knee-jerk over-reaction that's more about your own assumptions and expectations than it is about reality.
