Also, regarding your actual secret; you are in love with a gay man, and you hate slashers? Or just female slashers? What's the connection?

Female slashers don't understand how men, especially gay men "work," and besides, they're shallow wenches who are only in it for the eyecandy and unrealistic and offensive sexual fantasies. Now that the OP realized that he respects a gay guy a lot and may be sort of gay himself, this annoys him even more. Duh. (What, you never imagined you were in a threesome with your favorite gay male couple? Think of all the fun you could have... while... watching them, I suppose.)
