I...actually have to agree with this person. I think they DO get it, and you're not.

I have rape fantasies, and (this is the reason I'm choosing to remain anon, I don't want people to know) I actually kind of do want to be raped for real. I want the trauma.

I also have fantasies about killing people, and I really wish I could kill them...if I knew I could get away with it I would.

So fantasy does equal reality in a lot of cases.

Pity isn't the same thing as love at all. I can see why you'd want to be raped, even if I find it upsetting, but I think that you could achieve the same outcome without going down that path. Rape is such a destructive thing, because all it does it take away. Maybe you could do something hard and painful and horrible that has a positive outcome, like working with stray animals? You'd still get scrapped up and hurt, but it wouldn't be so dangerous, and people would not only feel sorry for you, they'd also admire you. I think you'd get a lot more love that way.

I kind of agree with you, in that a fantasy is something that you sort of want to do, but it's often something you also don't want to do and never would. For instance, stepping away from the rape issue, I fantasize about getting an ice cream on a hot day, but I don't really want to eat an ice cream because I'm lactose intolerant and I don't actually like ice cream that much anyway. It's just an idea I like messing around with.

...of course milk is totally rape anyway amirite
