Saying no when you mean no. Obviously if it's a situation where it's dangerous to say no, then go ahead and do what you have to, but passive-aggressive 'I'll say yes and then just not do it, or do it and make everyone else as miserable as I am' is stressful for you, and for everyone around you.

But yeah, you don't want to go to that party? Just say 'No'! Don't really want some of your aunt's green bean and sardine casserole? Say 'no, thank you'.

Good, reasonable boundaries are awesome self-care.

Oh, THIS. I think a lot of people don't want to come out and say "no" because they want to avoid confrontation or they think it'll be easier to either go along or be vague about it. But really, it usually only makes the situation worse in the long run. They haven't actually saved themselves any grief or confrontation, they've only postponed it and the longer they do this, the worse it will be in the end.
