I mean especially the first thing that comes to mind with 'costume ban' is a couple years ago when things were going around facebook encouraging kids party organizers to ban Frozen costumes to force little girls to use their imaginations and be unique. (which is especially shameful as I never saw any similar memes about the 84 Kid Batmen and 56 Kid Captain Americas that always show up ) Fucking hell, if every little girl wants to be Elsa why should she be told she can't because it's 'too popular'?
