Because fandom will cross over forever and ever, regardless of how untouchable you think your fandom is.

Accusing a studio of engaging in legally actionable copyright infringement isn't a "crossover."

You do know that no one is serious? No one calling their lawyers over this. Fandom is jokingly comparing the two based on generalizations.

Also, Blizzard would probably enjoy the joke. The OW team is pretty open with discussing Overwatch ships and jokes with fandom. And Game Grumps would also think it was pretty funny.
