I thought I'd grow out of being a fujoshi too, OP. Yeah, that didn't happen. All that changed was that I started looking for stories that are less fucked up. I still like that stuff every now and then, but now I mainly want more realistic stories with healthier relationships.

I feel like the stories I read are still fucked up, but maybe I'm a little more discerning in HOW they are fucked up. I still am interested in darker scenarios, but I want them to play out with a little more detail and realism than the old basic yaoi trope of I like senpai, senpai rapes me, now we're in love in the course of 15 panels. I also am not interested in stuff about high school kids, that just feels a little icky to me now just because I'm now well beyond that stage in my life. Other than that, not much has changed!
