Ugh, yeah. I understand having a preference for one over the other, but I hate the whole "cats are evil, cats have no soul, etc" thing... especially when people only think that because cats are independent or less easy to read than dogs. That... doesn't make them the spawn of Satan.

Yup. And cats have personality, same as dogs. They are not all one faceless mob. You just have to take the time to get to know them. Find out what they need and makes them happy, and they'll love you forever.

Yeah, my cats have very distinct personalities :D. It's fun to see how they'll both respond to certain things that my mom or I do, or how they each like to play and cuddle and relax and whatnot.

I completely agree with you and everyone else here. I've owned both dogs and cats, and there are notable differences between them, for sure. Some people can handle taking care of both, others might have an easier time with one over the other.

But even if one has their personal preference between dogs and cats, the fact is that they're still both wonderful, sweet, fun animals in their own ways.

And I also agree that joking about killing animals is just not cool :(.
