True, true. I have a love-hate relationship with the manga, mainly because of how the author turned Yae into a wilting fanservice magnet and his personal Mary Sue. Omitsu gets it worse by being demoted to an Akane Tendo-ish gag character, purposely made to look as unappealing as possible compared to Yae-Sue.

Even though it has no bearing on the actual game canon, the manga has really painted the Japanese fandom's perception of the characters after having run for almost 20 years. Poor Omitsu just can't win.

(Oh, and Sasuke's actually a robot.)

... I wasn't even aware there WAS a manga. Or that it had been that long-running. Woah, to put it lightly.

Aaah, was he now? I mostly know them from the Nintendo 64 games, and it has been a while. Yet my point still stands: that man is the sanest man in that whole damn series, and it's probably because he is a machine.

Well, you might change your mind if you play Goemon's Great Adventure. For example, he expresses the desire to be a wife someday, and one of his unlockable outfits is a frilly maid uniform. So Yae probably trumps Sasuke in the sanity department because of this.

(Never mind how he cross-dresses and tries to pass himself off as the Wise Man's wife at the beginning of Ganbare Goemon 4...)
