There's a very old UFO urban legend that goes around about a woman being pulled out of a tall building in New York (the UN building I think?) by aliens and a lot of people seeing it. I read about it in high school and really wondered if it could be true and there was some coverup. A couple of years ago I saw it debunked, which is pretty easy to do, but I had stopped believing it long before that. I kind of miss that sense of wonder I had about things like that.
