Personally I find the eyewitness accounts and historical sightings more compelling than a picture or two. Pictures are sensational, and sometimes faked. Accounts tend to have nuances and layers and a lot more to offer, IMO. The focus on technology to solve things falls short in cryptozoology. Not all accounts can be easily dismissed or explained, and often have hesitant or reluctant and trustworthy witnesses. A preponderance of voices means something to pay attention to.
