It's not the age that bothers me, it's that they mostly seem like dickheads.

She comes off as one of the fakest people in Hollywood with her whole "I'm just like you and totally obtainable" act. So of course she would fuck someone for her career.

I don't see how that logic follows at all?

Because she is the type of person who is always faking her personality (in interviews for example) it isn't a big surprise she is faking her relationships to further her career.

News at 11...Fake people have fake relationships...Also water is wet.

OK, I feel like "fake celebrity gossip magazine relationships" is actually not at all the same thing as "fucking your way to the top"

I actually think there's a huge difference between those two things

No comment on her relationships because I don't care, but man she really lays it on thick with the "I'm so relatable" schtick. I used to think it was funny that she acted that way, even if deliberately, against all the Hollywood bullshit. But now it feels just as fake. I feel like every skit and interview she does is "lol I'm totally not a big deal haha look at me I eat pizza too" and bleh. It's so over the top.

Comments like this baffle me, because it's basically like she's screwed if she acts like every other actor who thinks their shit doesn't stink and that they're better than 'common folk', and she's screwed if she acts approachable and normal.

What do you guys want from people?

Re: Pratt - Well, he is in two huge blockbuster franchises, at least one of which will keep him working in high profile movies for the next decade, probably. And as a man in Hollywood, so long as he keeps his hair and doesn't get too hefty he'll have a much better shot at getting roles as he gets older. Sadly, you can't say that for women in Hollywood even if they still look great as they get older. Now that Pratt has solid comedy AND action star roles, he'll continue to be a contender for more blockbuster movies of those genres and the only thing ruling him out is his already busy schedule.

Yes, that's true. But she was in two big franchises of her own, not to mention her Oscar noms and her win, her Golden Globes awards, and her BAFTA. She was the highest-paid actress in 2015 and 2016. I just don't think that because he's a currently popular actor, he necessarily has more influence than her. I won't argue with the fact that all else being equal, a man will generally have more influence than a woman, I just don't think all else is equal in this case.

And she was co-starring with Chris Pratt, not dating him, so I don't know why he's included. Unless OP has been taking the supermarket tabloids seriously?

She's only dated two of the men on here and the only other person that she's dated other than those two is Nicholas Hoult. I'm not sure how Nick or Chris Martin could help further her career and she only started to date Aronofsky after she was already a well established A-lister.
