A friend of mine and I were often mistaken for lesbian lovers by our friends and some family members. I'm really not sure why, but this persisted for a few years, and while we thought it was funny at first, and would make jokes about it, after a while it got really annoying. We didn't understand how people who supposedly knew us so well could make such a fundamental mistake in their perception of our relationship for such a long period of time, especially when we would tell them directly that we were just friends, and even if either of us were lesbians, we still wouldn't date the other. Eventually I think people either took the hint or they just stopped commenting on it, but every time I see a House/Wilson post, I think of that and how a lot of relationships get so shallowly defined by otherwise very perceptive, intelligent people.

124. I know, right?! Watching the current season, it's easy to forget that Lelouch still treasures those close to him... Seeing the screencap in your secret reminded me of how sweet and caring he can be. And hey, half of your f-list isn't so bad. At least you've got someone whom you can talk to. I only know a couple of people who watch Code Geass, but during that whole episode (actually, whenever Shirley made any kind of contact with Lelouch), they would scream, "BIIIITCH. My story is worse, I think.

I am normally attracted to nerds, but they're usually at least good-looking ones.
I started work at an academic summer camp last week, and started becoming friends with a lot of the guy counselors. They're nice and all, but none of them are good enough looking to make me attracted to them.
