118. I’d rather Xavin continue to be alive, arrogant, loyal, and awesome. Somehow Xavin became my favorite Runaway.

122. I haven’t read the books, but Nate and Blair are my favorite characters (just not together. When they’re together, clouds melt and orphans despair). I do know in the books they weren’t actually dating as long as in the show, and that Dan wrote the most terrible/amazing poem EVER:

Oh yes, but I meant the "childhood boyfriend/girlfriend" sorta thing, which from my understanding is something in the show. In the TV series, they hadn't been dating at the start of the book that long, from my understanding.

Hee! Yup, that's what I meant. While the Nate/Blair of the show are implied to be dating since kindergarten. Which I believe is a hyperbole, but I believe that basically means for a long, long time. Probably since a high-class, text messaging version of "D U like m? Y N M?"

Honestly when I read the books, I came to wonder if English was Meyers first language. So, that makes me a little worried about the school in question.

I've only read excerpts. It's bad, but more like mediocre bad. Not truly, epically horrible, like Dan's poem or Baby Mimi (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/592421/1/Sin_and_Absolution). I read the quality crap.

Yikes, no. No one can touch the WTF that is Baby Mimi. So much of bad fic is really squicky, which is, IMO, sorta... easy. Terrible, but child's play. Well, hopefully not child's play, but what Baby Mimi does is ART.

Bad fic flows from her like lava from a volcano.

She has also written Buffy fic (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/613976/1/Requisition_to_profit_to_napoleon).

"Buffy hits Spike with Buffy’s hands and yells at Spike really loudly. But Buffy’s saying "Oh I am too cool I am so cool. Spike would never stop loving me." And then Buffy is mean to Dawn also because Dawn is cool and Buffy is so mean."

The way she captures the characters' voices... astounding.

I saw some scans on Scans_Daily, so my fears were lessened, a bit. I'd miss all the fun with pronouns Xavin brings :(

Really, though, I've been in a duck and cover position for the entirety of Whedon's run. Which meant I've been in a duck and cover position for a very, very long time.
