Seems less to do with the show itself. S/he might be referring to the endless stream of wank, spoilers, and vitriol. It wasn't exactly confined to one group, either. There are a number of talented fan-writers and fan-artists who simply left because of all of it. SGA fandom seemed pretty huge when it came to my attention, so I imagine a lot of people felt welcomed at first too.

I must live in a happy place, because I haven't seen any of it. And... aren't spoilers something one can avoid? Unless people are maliciously posting them in the places where all the rest of the nasty stuff is happening, and I'm not friended to them/watching those communities? I'm confused as to why you list them among 'wank' and 'vitriol.' Not trying to attack you or anything, it's just... really odd, to me.

106. I agree that Naruto and Sasuke's friendship is a billion times more important than any romance they could have. But I also think that somewhere down the line--if they both outlive the series and can be near eachother--it wouldn't be surprising if they find something beyond just being friends. Even with that thought in mind, I don't ship them and I love their friendship to death.

106. asfkhsak something about the tone of this secret just puts me off. It IS possible to like two male characters as just friends instead of a slash pairing, you know. You're not some persecuted fan. And there are a lot better reactions to other people doing something they enjoy, as opposed to doing what you want them to, other than "you guys are ruining it for me!" I-in summary I think I get what you're SAYING but the way you said it is kind of grating. "I don't like this as a pairing, just as friends, but I could never say that and all the people who ship it are ruining canon for me!" is probably true sometimes but GAH it sounds cliche and whiny as all hell most of the time.

kuroxfai comm, the people who think/thought that FAY/KUROGANE fics should have a SEPERATE comm for some reason, the ones that wangst about how it's OOC for Fay to top or Kurogane to bottom, the ones that hate Sakura because she was cold to Syaoran and Fay kissed her hand and therefore she's a whore (or... something)... it might not be everybody but it's enough to make me cringe. This right here is mild. I'm not surprised, unfortunately. D:

Sadly, it's not uncommon. Fandoms seem to be full of people who look for excuses to hate other fans, whether it be of a particular pairing, character, or the series in general. (OMG THIS PERSON LIKES THIS PAIRING THAT AUTOMATICALLY MEANS THEY ARE A SHITTY WRITER! Wut.)

I'm not aware of all the details, but I'm pretty sure I remember the other community being a really retarded mood by people who were being douches, but I can sort of see why someone would suggest that there's no need for eternal emnity and making rules that don't actually prevent distribution, only location.

Yeah, last week Sunday (June 30). He had a lot of health problems, including his heart. It was why he left the show, he needed a less stressful work schedule on his body.

This game seriously puts in the vocals at the BEST times. I also think it slips into movie mode at just the right times to completely stun the player. The SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER scenes with Rhyme (in the middle of Week 1) and Joshua (at the very end of Week 2) left me just sitting there going "... ... ... ... D:" for like five minutes straight after they were done. XD;
