113) Looked it up and I really do have to agree. The original is MUCH better than the remixes.
That song is so weird though. :x I mean, it's sort of errie, and I wonder if there's a specific message attached to how it was performed. It makes the whole "it's a fine day" thing almost ironic? Dunno, I could also be over analyzing it too much.

You're not alone. I'm already taking more pain pills than can possibly be healthy, and I'm starting to have difficulty functioning without them.

See, I think that's unfair, even having read your comments about why you think so. Personally, in real life, I'm pretty closed about my emotions, though I consider myself very emotionally balanced and rational. But for certain things I watch, read, or play, they just strike a chord. I think that's a good thing, personally. And some people might not cry when the chord is struck, but some people do, and that's fine as well; it's just different reactions to the same thing. Different things strike different chords.

I do think you have somewhat of a point on exaggeration, but usually when I say I cried at something, I mean that I got teary and wept a bit, not that I went all-out snivels and sobs. Maybe some people do. That's still fine. Again, different reactions.

I don't cry a lot in real life. I don't cry at funerals, usually. I cried at Wall-E. I cry every time I finish playing Hotel Dusk. I've even cried at some admittedly-beautiful online videos (Where The Hell Is Matt?, specifically). For me, it's not the CRYING BUCKETS so much as the a few tears and thoughts. And it's not always sadness, either ... half of why I cried at Wall-E was because it was just a beautiful movie, all told.

Adric could be really annoying at times whenever he got all sulky, but when he died I BAWLED for DAYS. This was when PBS was showing Old Who 2 decades ago and I was a 11 year old nerd kid at the time. I still feel sadness when I remember it and have a great affection in my heart for Adric as a result. It was the first character death I ever experienced and (even though it sounds silly) I grew up a little bit right there in front of my TV.

133: I kind of agree, except I also 'ship them pretty hard so I'd take it further than this. BUT YES! They are best friends and it's lovely/hilarious.

143: Although I don't like it when "huge fans" say they've never watched the last two seasons, I do understand why people don't like them as much. They're not the same show, you know? So it makes sense. But I actually grew to really like Doggett and I'm sad he won't be in the movie either.

I didn't know about that, because I wasn't into Ironman fandom - I just saw the movie. But OMG, looked it up on wikipedia, and DO WANT.

105 I haven't seen Torchwood, so I don't know about whether or not they're hot, but I'm confused as to how saying a gay man IRL (he is, isn't he? or is 'everything I know about Torchwood I learned from F!S' failing me this time?) did a poor acting job on a gay scene is somehow homophobic? Also, is he looking into the camera in that last shot? I'm going with 'embarrassing' too, at least till I see it for real.

108 Disagreeing on the Will Smith part, but on the whole, I hate most of the other three's movies, too. Too much crass gratuitous nakedness, for Carrey and Farrel, and for some reason I just don't find Murphy funny.

Though I assume if you've been around since before 2006 you probably have had to deal with some of the issues I never did, so it might not feel as welcoming and fun for you as it does me. I'm really confused at the 'how was anyone supposed to stay' part, though. I really wish whoever is doing the crappy promos this year would stop using the WRONG FUCKING GATE, though. *points to icon*

I didn't care for anything from seasons 7 and above, but I understand your feelings: I don't see why they couldn't be given a small part in the movie, since the movie isn't mythology-based.

Me? I'm not seeing it because they killed off Krycek. *pouts*

Yes! Seasons 8 and 9 definitely did NOT feel like X-Files. The whole William thing was just a huge mistake, it turned all soap opera-y, and Mulder being gone just sucked all the fun out of the actual X-File cases. I also came to like Doggett (mostly because I enjoyed the whole unrequited love triangle thing), but I still pretend that Reyes never existed. Her character, and her actor, were awful and annoyed the heck out of me. They were obviously trying to recreate the M/S relationship in one season with them and were trying to slowly phase out M/S altogether, but us fans weren't having it.

Not too terribly sad that the season 8/9 stuff will be missing in the movie, but I wouldn't have been upset if Doggett were included.

God, I could have written that one myself. There are some good gen-fics out there, but they're so buried in the romance that they're almost impossible to find. >_>

...I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I hope you find some that you like!

103 - Pretty much yeah.

105 - I don't find them hot either. I'm a strait woman and I do not see room for me in that equation. I don't see how it could be hot for somebody like me but apparently it's possible. Secondly, I think both scenes looked kind of awkward... I know that's like saying "This food is terrible and the portions are too small!" but there you go.

109 - She was kind of smothery, also, she worked with Saxon's cronies and tried to turn her daughter into them. Hotness is neither here nor there.

125 - All the world hates Really-Smart-Boys-Who-Save-The-Day-Repeatedly characters, I don't know why. He was kind of annoying though. Many of his lines, as I recalled, involved repeating what somebody else said as if it was a question...
