(Anonymous) 2018-01-27 12:22 am (UTC)(link)That might be what you got from the secret, but I think that's more about you than what the secret actually says. The secret makes no value judgment about the cabin or Hooper. Keep in mind that bad decision =/= bad person.

(Anonymous) 2018-01-27 01:49 am (UTC)(link)MTE. What El went through was rough, and Hopper definitely wasn't the best at communicating with her and giving her as much information about what was going on as he could have. But under the circumstances, they didn't have a whole lot of feasible options.

(Anonymous) 2018-01-27 03:09 am (UTC)(link)Where does it do that? It references "Hopper's bad decision" once. The conditions described are pretty accurate, IIRC? Elle wasn't allowed to leave the cabin. She wasn't even supposed to look out the window. Due to Hopper having a job and all, he wasn't able to stay with her all the time, so she was alone. Not surprisingly, all of that and knowing that her friends believed she was dead contributed to her unhappiness. That doesn't sound like overstating the situation.
