I agree that this is a poor imitation of his style but I don't think Wako IDs as feminist. It would have to be in an extremely contrarian and meaningless sense of the word, if he did, but I don't think even that.

I generally don't pay a lot of attention to kiss scenes, but this stands out a bit to me in that she's "holding" the back of his head with her wrist and her other hand is just kind of laying on his shoulder. It looks like she doesn't actually want to touch him anywhere, like the kiss version of a Christian side hug.

Mute looks realllllly good. I'm honestly a lot more pumped for this, already, than I am for Altered Carbon (although some of that is probably that I've read the book of Altered Carbon already so I have a better idea of what to expect, whereas Mute could be anything).

I'm really glad that cyberpunk seems to be going through a renaissance

I still haven't watched the first one! But I liked him in Civil War so I need to get around to it. It does look fun, though.

Also, goddamn Paul Rudd reminds me so much of Ryan Reynolds (I guess it's the voice and the eyes) and it's so confusing.
