I think they've confused "I ship it" with "I think it would be healthy and age-appropriate for these two characters to be having sex right now."

Sure, that's one factor that can draw people to ships, but there are so many others. Including "it's totally unhealthy, and that's what I feel like reading" (see also: horror movies, Hannibal) and "I think it would be adorable if they held hands and got flustered around each other and shared cookies at lunch."

OP needs to relax and stop getting so down on themself. (Assuming they aren't just a troll, that is.)

It seems the most likely interpretation over "I don't want them to hold hands and share cookies." Also, Mike and Eleven aren't 7. It's ridiculous to assume the latter over the former when talking about shippping.

Are you saying that OP doesn't want fanworks to depict the fictional characters of Mike and Eleven having a sexual relationship at any point over the next 6 years? Well, first of all, you were the one who brought it up.

Second, how is it a logical assumption? Even when talking about fictional characters, OP talks about 2 things that they object to: (1) shipping adults with minors, and (2) shipping minors with minors for your own sick amusement. Neither of those is about relationships between minors being wrong in and of themselves.
