I've kept watching but I totally understand you. It was very jarring. They built up their potential romantic relationship all troughout the first season, played the "will they won't they" card to a t. Finally, they kissed and were about to go on a date. And then, they weren't ?

It didn't help that, in spite of being a fan of James/Kara, I was still ready to love Mon-El/Kara but ended very disapointed by the weird timing of this relationship as well. It seems they weren't in love, then they were. Again, for some reason. So the pairing ended being just "meh" for me, wich is sad because I wanted to be enthusiastic about it.

But at least, now that Mon-El is out of the equation, maybe James and Kara could rebuild something. Also, I'm not holding my breath. And yes, I love Lena/Kara too.

Not convinced Mon-El is permanently out of the equation yet.

AYRT : I'm a bit behind so it's possible. I'm not against Mon-El/Kara per se, I just hope I'll feel for it more the second time (I think an issue is also that I'm verging on indifference towards Mon-El. I'm a bit anxious to see how the Supergirl writers will handle the fact that he's married now. I don't want his wife to be a sacrificial lamb (be it by dying/by being sent to another dimension on or by turning evil). But, wether Kara and Mon-El comes back together I really don't want neither Kara & James nor Kara & Winn relationships to be completely neglected. I was rooting for Kara & James because they have all the foundation of a profond friendship (with a romantic attraction on both part).
