I know money isn't everything but by god a million dollars would solve like 90% of my problems right now.

Money isn’t everything, but the security it buys counts for a lot, and not having enough to live on and worrying about it sucks.

I just had to spend the money I was saving for a vacation on car repairs (fucker took off my side mirror without so much as a how-do-you-do), so IA.

Money really does buy happiness up to the point where you can live in decent comfort without constant fear of not being able to pay the bills or of loosing everything because of an unexpected minor emergency.

Definitely. I've been in both situations and the low level but constant stress of worrying about whether or not you're going to get sick or injured and how much it will cost, whether or not your car is going to break down, your water heater dies, etc, just wears me down. It's a huge difference when something goes wrong but you're not worried about going broke trying to fix it.

Same. Money wouldn't make my depression magically go away, but it would be nice to not have to stress over how I'm going to afford the rent and my cat's vet bills on the teensy wages I get.

yep same. hell, 100k would solve 99% of my problems and still leave me free of fear.
