Money really does buy happiness up to the point where you can live in decent comfort without constant fear of not being able to pay the bills or of loosing everything because of an unexpected minor emergency.

Definitely. I've been in both situations and the low level but constant stress of worrying about whether or not you're going to get sick or injured and how much it will cost, whether or not your car is going to break down, your water heater dies, etc, just wears me down. It's a huge difference when something goes wrong but you're not worried about going broke trying to fix it.
