What weird fandom habits do you have? Maybe how you read fic? Or engage with people? Or draw art? Or whatever.

I feel like if I’m posting fic, even to my own journal, I have to use an icon of that character, ship or fandom to the point I’ve uploaded icons to use to post a fic then probably never used them again then deleted them months/years later.

This is honestly my entire set of dw icons rn, even though I am way less active in fandom than I used to be. Still have all my fannish icons so I can post the right icon for the right fic.

if I comment here, I keep that comment open in a new tab (sometimes this leads to multiple tabs if I have a lot to comment on that day) and obsessively refresh to see if anyone responds to what I've said. Sadly, since my time-zone is such that I'm usually going to bed when these come out, I rarely get to see answers in time to really get a conversation going. (Well, that and mostly nobody answers). This is even if I post something super trivial like answering a question about what I'll be doing with my weekend or ... yeah, even this one ;)

I usually just go through the main comments pages and try to remember which threads I commented in

more efficient, yaknow

In regards to weekend posts (that I usually do), I try to (and think I do) answer like 99% of the people that reply.

I try to be! As long as I am not on mobile, I can usually reply fairly quick (unless someone doesn't give me a lot to work with so I have to think of a good answer).

I only read specific fandoms on PC vs mobile. I also check the fandoms I read regularly in a very specific order.

Save all the fic, always.

Towards the end of the LJ era, I also used to copy comment exchanges I found particularly funny or insightful and collect them in a text document.

I can't get into fandoms right away. My biggest period of obsession with a fandom will happen 3-5 years after I first read or watch it.

If a character's name scans I'll make up something to the tune of the Davy Crockett theme. Like "Harry, Harry Potter, the famous boy who lived" or "Peggy, Peggy Carter, badass agent of SHIELD"

When I was a kid, my friend and I used to do that (make up rhymes to the Davy Crockett theme song) except nonsense rhymes, or with kids in our class

If I read a fic, I always comment on it and find something nice to say. And if someone comments on my fic, I always respond even if it's just a 'thank you'.

I'm obsessed with blog entry-written 'Let's Play's that focus on nearly every detail of a game. More specifically: on Final Fantasy X; and evem more specifically: the details of each character and how something relates to them. That game has been in my life for sooo long and I am still learning new things about it. Mintywolf has one of my fav 'Let's Play' blogs.
