It was more of a trollfest than a wank outright, but it got wanky behind the scenes. It's for a fandom barely anyone's heard of.

This happened in the 2000s - possibly 2005, but no later than. I think it might have been 2005 because it was when Doctor Who returned, and the troll's story seemed very Doctor Who-y.

Anyway, on a forum for the Earth's Children series (the first book being Clan of the Cave Bear), a guy posted claiming that he was a time traveler. His screenname was "iamacaveman." His story didn't have 100% consistency - sometimes he was an alien, sometimes just a time traveler. He was most definitely a caveman. His posts were hilarious. We all played along, because why not?

Sadly, he stopped being funny and started getting snarky. Apparently when the Modly Beings PMed him, he actually got really nasty. iamacaveman returned back to his home planet. I wish I could go back and find his posts, but the forum went through a bit of an overhaul a few years back, and a lot of really old posts - including iamacaveman's - were lost.

iamacaveman, we hardly knew ye. (But maybe that's for the best.)

AYRT - Oh, it wasn't his. That's how his admins put it when he was banned. Apparently he was funnier on the forums, not so funny one-on-one.

We did have a few trolls who were the same person. I wonder if he was one of them...
