Favorite Scenes? Least Favorites?
(Anonymous) 2018-04-24 12:16 am (UTC)(link)Re: Favorite Scenes? Least Favorites?
Sam being an awesome guy who lets two relative strangers into his house because they need his help. Murder strut. Bucky in Pierce's kitchen.
The 'but i knew' him scene, which fucking breaks my gods damn heart. Every time. The helicopter scene. The scene in the weird chair contraption when the evil twat is forcing Bucky to be the Soldier. The 3-way fight scene. The elevator fight scene.
Shuri showing off her lab. The drowning out of Freeman's character by strategic yelling and the 'vegetarian' quip. Women being awesome and fierce in the final BP battle scene.
Least favorite - 99 percent of AoU. Most of Thor: DA. The stupid 'kissing Sharon' scene that came out of nowhere. The incredibly awkward Bruce/Natasha flirting mess. I'm sure i'll think of more.....

Favorite comedic scene is like...all of Thor: Ragnarok. The best one is actually a deleted scene from that movie.
Least favorite scene is in Avengers is this line.
I HATE THAT LINE.

Re: Favorite Scenes? Least Favorites?
The interogation mode scene in Spiderman: Homecoming.
Loki in prison in Thor 2.
Least Favorite: idk???
Re: Favorite Scenes? Least Favorites?
Iron Man - All of Tony's vulnerable moments, from his rescue to his cheeseburger request, to telling Pepper he had no one else to change out his mini-reactor. And of course the mini-reactor changing scene.
Captain America: The First Avenger - the great rescue, of course!
The Avengers - When the Hulk lost his pants. And of course, RagDoll!Loki
Thor - Thor's sacrifice, and coming back from the brink
CA: The Winter Soldier - Nick Fury's car chase. The highway battle. So badass.
Guardians of the Galaxy - Groot's sacrifice. The "dance-off" with Quill and Ronan. Howard the Duck cameo(s).
CA: Civil War - The T'Chaka/T'Challa scene. The Spider-man/Winter Soldier/Falcon portion of the airport battle. Stan Lee's cameo. T'Challa realizing he didn't want to be like Zemo, and helping out the Winter Soldier.
Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 - Despite what Ego turned out to be, I liked the scene where Quill got to play catch with his dad.
Thor: Ragnarok - "I have been falling for thirty minutes!" The Hulk scenes.
Black Panther - The outcome of the remote car chase. M'Baku threatening Ross.
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.
Least favorite scene: Garry Shandling (rest his soul) and Maximiliano Hernández are awesome, but I have never been more grossed out by an MCU scene than I was by theirs in TWS. And I've read and watched far cruder things than that, so wtf?
Re: Favorite Scenes? Least Favorites?
The whole Bridge fight between Steve and Bucky in TWS.
Thor explaining the Rosenberg bridge to Jane in the first Thor movie, it was such a sweet little moment and made me love him more.
T'Challa's conversation with Natasha in CW about the Wakandian view of thee after-life, idk I just really liked it. Felt nice and comforting.
Also T'Challa crawling over to the body of his father in the UN building, I felt so, so bad for him as he cradled his dad's body.
The fight in GOTG2 where Gamora and Nebula end up having a scream-conversation where they come to and understanding of sorts, and the hug they share towards the end of the movie.
Natasha kicking the butts of all the goons in the bottom of the boat in TWS.
The Get Out scene in Ragnarok.
T'Challa's little dazed 'Hi' to Nakia in BP, sue me but I thought that was cute.
Shuri and T'Challa testing the new BP suit.
Least favourites:
Most of Selvig's scenes in TDW, I just didn't really care for the 'lol he's crazy' jokes much. It's like the film coulnd't decide whether it was an actual serious thing or super funny and I got mood whiplash from that(then again there was a lot of that in TDW).
The 'she's so hideous' jokes about Mantis in GOTG2, once was mildly amusing, but it took that joke and ran it completely into the ground by the movie's end. It was like a kid who made a funny joke who then proceeded to repeat it 15 times and expected you to laugh the same each time.
The Scott/Hope kiss, especially since it only felt like they'd gotten to grudging respect by the end of the movie, not 'I wanna bone you' levels of acceptance.
The Steve/Sharon kiss, felt out of place and tacked on. If she'd been in more of the movie it would have been less annoying. (I was expecting something between them because comics, but I was hoping for more of a lead-up than that).
I probably have more of each but that's all I've got right now.

Least favorite - Any Bruce/Natasha scene
