just for my personal curiosity: is this restricted to armored suits, or would you also be into robots?

You know, now that you mention it... Ultron was pretty cute. When Wanda was falling for him, it made total sense to me. He was like a newborn god (and pretty charming).

The idea of a robot creates the idea for that they are being forced or programmed, which is anathema for me personally, or that they're not enjoying it the same way I am. Ultron is different because he's free and could theoretically simulate the feeling of human touch and sexual arousal and orgasms for himself, perhaps even magnified to an incomprehensible extent.

But beyond that, I need a guy in there. I think I like the Tony/Pepper scene so much because they were in a relationship and had a genuine level of intimacy. I was actually very disappointed when it turned out he wasn't in there and remotely piloting it.

For me I think it's the tactile feel of metal armor as well as the obscuring of my partner's face. Because I can't intuit what he's thinking from facial cues, it creates a game of trust and heighten awareness of body language and actions.

Especially since the Iron Man armor is a weapon and could easily kill me.

For me the climax to an armored suit play scene would be me ripping off my partner's helmet and kissing them, then having intense rapid flesh to flesh sex, maybe totally naked, maybe the armor is only partially undressed.

If I did fall for an Ultron I would want him to create a fleshy form for himself as well (though Vision has the sex appeal of a wet blanket), because I like that just as much. It's like a Cadbury Egg situation for me, the chocolate shell and creamy inner nougat are essential and inseparable for the experience lol.

Why does Pepper look more artificial in that first pic than Iron Man?

I think even though plastic surgery is pretty much an industry standard (actresses like Paltrow probably they have no choice but to do it) and I actually think it can in some cases preserve or enhance beauty, it still has a very uncanny effect.

I have a very subtle bump along the profile of my nose that I've wanted to have smoothed over since I was an insecure teen, but I now realize if it was gone my nose would probably be *too* smooth and sleek looking, since otherwise it's a very typical Disney Princess small buttoned nose. Might even make my heavy brow ridge look more aggressive or something.

Something about the natural harmonics of my features creates balance and I think celebrities have to walk a fine line with that, at a certain point perfectly tight smooth unblemished skin just looks like digital CGI.

I actually meant the lighting - she's shinier than he is, and he's polished metal.

OH! Haha, you're right! Very weird directing decision...

Maybe the Iron Man armor is supposed to have a very matte finish, that seems en-vogue right now with cars and guns and stuff.

I actually think Paltrow looks great, I just assumed you meant her skin looks kinda uncanny... which I guess it does juxtaposed against how the suit is lit. Didn't notice anything off until you pointed it out.

You are not alone my friend. Armor kink is a real thing.

A-Any advice for a newbie??

If you'd like some armour-wearing sexy times, may I direct your attention to Excalibur (1981)? In which Uther and Igraine apparently somehow do the do with him in full plate armour. It's a ... memorable scene.

omg, Excalibur was my go-to fantasy when I was younger. Yummmm.

I watched that years ago but I do vaguely remember it!

From what I remember it was quite trippy, Uther turning into her husband and the walking along the fog from one seaside cliff to the one with her castle.

I'll watch it again and see if I can enjoy it out-of-context, which is unfortunately rape within the story.

I figured swords and sorcery and historical dramas would be a good place to see sexy sweaty knight dudes in sexy shining armor doing sexy things like rescuing and comforting his maiden, but have no idea where to start lol. Maybe in A Knight's Tale Heath Ledger has an intimate armored scene with his love interest, can't remember...

(Come to think of it, I've just realized my Reylo fixation plays into this as well, at least before Ben smashed his helmet. The scene in TFA when he entrances Rey and then princess carries her when she collapses... *HHGGHGHGGGHHH*)

Does Game of Thrones have much "armor play"? From what I've seen they seem to have a preference for having everyone wearing leather jerkins and even when the suited knights have sexy times they are completely bucknaked or wearing boring linen underclothes...

Mmmmm, I'm exceptionally attracted to the Iron Man suit.

And the fluid silver Terminator.

Look, just, lots of robots & cyborgs are sexy.

"And the fluid silver Terminator."
I actually think it's cool that you can see sexiness in that, but I think that's a little more advanced than where I'm at right now lol.

For me personally, a flesh and blood sexy man being in the suit (an essential part in a sort-of symbiosis with the adorable robot-like exterior, if you will) is part of the fantasy for me.

Even Ultron and Dr. Manhattan are too far removed from humanity for me to be completely sold on them, but their god-like attributes are undeniably sexy. I mention Manhattan because he is the opposite of an armor kink, he's totally naked, but he's also robot-like in that his mind is far superior to mankind's and he's omniscient/omnipotent or whatever. If there's any attraction I have to bots and borgs it's because they would be so emotionally/mentally/physically evolved and capable of appearing totally human if I wanted.

"Look, just, lots of robots & cyborgs are sexy."
This is undeniably true, but as fascinating as things like Transformers rule 34 can be (it gets pretty weird y'all) it doesn't really do anything for me.

It's probably some kind of advancing spectrum from childhood with this kind of fetish:

Knight in shining armor here to rescue you, little girl ---> Stormtroopers being cute pushovers ---> Tony Iron Man quipping and making funny gestures, bein' a hero ---> Hey Ultron is just a vulnerable young AI trying to do his best and oh hey he's also very smart/powerful ---> where I'm at ---> more media with sympathetic robo's with hot bods ---> hot robot bods become increasingly more powerful but more abstract ---> you see robots with less characterization but you're already attracted to abstract physical forms ---> fluid silver Terminator is not only sexy but a kind of epitome of sexiness

I totally get it!
