(Anonymous) 2018-06-19 03:44 am (UTC)(link)From what I remember it was quite trippy, Uther turning into her husband and the walking along the fog from one seaside cliff to the one with her castle.
I'll watch it again and see if I can enjoy it out-of-context, which is unfortunately rape within the story.
I figured swords and sorcery and historical dramas would be a good place to see sexy sweaty knight dudes in sexy shining armor doing sexy things like rescuing and comforting his maiden, but have no idea where to start lol. Maybe in A Knight's Tale Heath Ledger has an intimate armored scene with his love interest, can't remember...
(Come to think of it, I've just realized my Reylo fixation plays into this as well, at least before Ben smashed his helmet. The scene in TFA when he entrances Rey and then princess carries her when she collapses... *HHGGHGHGGGHHH*)
Does Game of Thrones have much "armor play"? From what I've seen they seem to have a preference for having everyone wearing leather jerkins and even when the suited knights have sexy times they are completely bucknaked or wearing boring linen underclothes...
