BOFA has the most stupid CGI battles and stunts, and characters and events that aren't in the book, so yes I'd agree. My favorite is the first one, because it still pretty close to the book and also actually about the hobbit, about Bilbo.

What bugs me the most about these films is that sometimes you can see how much potential they had. Because there are loads of good actors involved who are all trying their best. And the costumes, sets, props are still gorgeous. Some of the scenes, even in BOFA, are pretty moving. But then there's some of the romance/jokes/monsters that are so cheesy they ruin the rest.
