I can appreciate the first one but even that one had issues. But then I dislike LOTR too for character assassination. By BoFA, all I wanted was an engaging action set-piece that showed elves, dwarves, and humans fighting together, and it failed even that.

Although, after watching Lindsay Ellis' new video essay on the Hobbit, I do feel more charitable to PJ and company.
