I think that gives male OT fans way too much credit. I think there were a variety of factors at play in Solo's performance, none of which is the silver bullet that explains it completely. I also don't think it's a good tactic to suggest only male OT fans are the ones with problems with the Disney SW movies (most of which I've liked). It just adds to the divisiveness and I'm tired of that.

As for Solo itself, I overall liked it. It was never going to be a movie for me because I'm more of a Jedi/Force kind of SW fan and I don't like heist movies in general, but I thought it was generally good and I'm glad I saw it.
