So like... house elves being slaves is good and necessary for them

the problem is JKR making the choice to write a fictional race of whom it is largely true that being a slave is good and necessary for them. but, like, that is what she actually did

No, actually she didn't. She wrote about a species being brainwashed into thinking slavery is good and necessary for them. Doesn't mean it is actually true, as seen by Dobby and even Kreature.

I don't think you can just conclude from two examples that something is true of the entire species
