103. You know, Russian is my native language, and the first time I saw it I read it like that too. Except of course I knew it wasn't meant like that, so why pronounce it like that? In truth, I know a lot of people who think it's stupid. But it has so much depth a lot of people don't expect from something like this. I admire Sasha greatly for at the very least the awareness he's managed to bring forth with something innocent-looking enough that people bother to listen.

106. I wish you would STFU, in truth. Something new came out. Something that is wonderful and has a huge following. Some time will pass and everyone will have seen it and discussed it, and the heat around it will cool off. The hell is wrong with talking about popular things we like? *shakes head*

112. I don't agree. Or, rather, I haven't encountered what you're talking about. It's not about "Omg it's never been done before!!" It's about, as you yourself agree, "It's never been done LIKE THIS before." Creativity is not necessarily inventing something NEVER heard or seen before. At this stage in human existence, that's pretty damn hard to do. It's more taking something mundane, overdone, done before in the very least, and doing it differently. That's enough to be excited about.

130. I agree. Watchmen is worth reading. Do please. But I wouldn't judge you. The way they showed him in the trailer and his VOICE made me a little wet. ;)

141. I always despised Harley, heh. I always thought she didn't belong in the fandom, because she was only introduced in the animated series. And I could never see her with Joker, either. She was too clingy and obsessed with him.

157. She better have realized it.. :S He wasn't the Doctor, really. She KNEW this. Two little words she knew the Doctor meant but couldn't say made all the difference? Please.

158. Heh. Even with the Joker, it's so tough to imagine any sort of crack. He's not crack!crazy. The series is just VERY dark. Hard to be anything but serious.

172. The word "best" is very general. For a lot of people best =/= most evil. Sephiroth had some kind of magnetism. There have been villains more atrocious and more heartless than him, yes, but that's not the only thing that draws people to villains.

176. I don't even know HOW I got through this book. Probably because I work in a book store, and I want to be able to back up my opinions in an educated way when customers ask why they shouldn't buy this book.

172 OP, by the way

I somehow doubt you meant 172, and I maintain that you were instead referring to 171. I never said that Raskolnikov was better than Sephiroth, though he may have - almost certainly, in fact - be a lot less pixelated.

I'm sorry! I did indeed mean 171. :)

I'm not the OP, but I'm in full agreement with him/her. So let me try to illustrate for you how we (or at least I) feel in regards to the TDK diarrhea.

Imagine that someone's made you a meal. Say, macaroni and cheese. You sit down to the meal, and you eat a little bit of mac and cheese. It's pretty good at first. Maybe even really good. But before too long, you've had enough, so you push the rest of it away. But suddenly, other people who like macaroni and cheese come up to you uninvited and start forcibly shoving mac and cheese down your throat. Over and over again. Without stopping. By that point, even though you thought the mac and cheese was good at first, you're so completely sick of it that you want to vomit.

In other words, just because you enjoy hearing about something nonstop doesn't mean everyone else on the planet also does. So how about you try getting over yourself a little bit, mmkay? *shakes head*

Wow. Thank you for this wonderful illustration. You see, before, I didn't actually understand what the OP was talking about. Now that you've made this wonderful metaphor, I get it!!

It's a personal pet-peeve of mine, people who keep whining and whining about stupid shit like this. Yeah, a new movie came out. Yes, people are excited. And actually, I do not enjoy hearing about something non-stop. But I'd much rather hear people discuss Batman than hearing people like you and the OP constantly whine about how you're tired of hearing about it. It;s been out for a couple of weeks. It's exciting, so most everyone has gone to see it, so people will talk about it for a while.

Get over it.

She knew. The moment she turned away from Hand!Doctor, she realised, poor thing.
