(Anonymous) 2008-08-04 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)Imagine that someone's made you a meal. Say, macaroni and cheese. You sit down to the meal, and you eat a little bit of mac and cheese. It's pretty good at first. Maybe even really good. But before too long, you've had enough, so you push the rest of it away. But suddenly, other people who like macaroni and cheese come up to you uninvited and start forcibly shoving mac and cheese down your throat. Over and over again. Without stopping. By that point, even though you thought the mac and cheese was good at first, you're so completely sick of it that you want to vomit.
In other words, just because you enjoy hearing about something nonstop doesn't mean everyone else on the planet also does. So how about you try getting over yourself a little bit, mmkay? *shakes head*

It's a personal pet-peeve of mine, people who keep whining and whining about stupid shit like this. Yeah, a new movie came out. Yes, people are excited. And actually, I do not enjoy hearing about something non-stop. But I'd much rather hear people discuss Batman than hearing people like you and the OP constantly whine about how you're tired of hearing about it. It;s been out for a couple of weeks. It's exciting, so most everyone has gone to see it, so people will talk about it for a while.
Get over it.
