There are some things that I loved as a teen that I no longer enjoy. Most of them are books that I used to think were super romantic now make me think that the protagonists need therapy. I still like nearly all the music I enjoyed as a teen though. All that angsty stuff I used to listen to still sounds good to me because sometimes I really don't feel o-fucking-kay and it feels validating to hear it in a song.
